Between a Rock and a Hard Place- An Analogy
Persistence in failure builds resilience.
We strike down with our axe, in hopes to cause the rock to split. To divide the work ahead.
The rock, a symbol of our situations.
The axe, a symbol of strength and effort.
Often our axe breaks, adding the amount of time it will take to get through the rock.
An axe must be fixed.
We struggle, as this is not our first attempt, it becomes frustrating, It fills our head with thoughts.
”When will this rock split?”
”Why does my axe break?”
”Am I strong enough?”
We start to question our methods. Should we change the execution?
We may strike several times,
make numerous attempts,
how can we bring our goals to fruition?
Giving up is only an option if you give in to what keeps your axe broken.
